Ghana Must Fall (amen)!
« on: January 22, 2006, 05:49 PM »

The die is cast.

I remember among others Senegal '92, where they beat us by 2-1. It was painful as Nigeria assemble the best team in the tournament.

We have been beating them ever since but we must win this o o o o o .

Super Eagles , please give us this day !

Wish the Eagles well, say something nice about the team.

There would be no stories from the Super Eagles. If Egypt, Cameroun, and the Ivory coast can win their first match, the Super Eagles should definitely destroy the Black Stars

True Ghana fell but thats besause they played crap. Their defence was terrible if not for their goalie, it would have been more than just a goal. Again on the other hand , Nija was not better. if Nija is unfortunate to meet a team like Cameroun, i know we'll be beaten hands down.

But bigups to Taye-Taiwo who didn't let Nigeria down.

And fall they did.
yes o! good side! quality team but just a bit loose in towards the right end.

Enyeama was good on the day. 75%
Enakhare had a nice game.  73%
Yobo was good except for some few lapses. 65%
Odiah was exceptional. 80%
Taiwo was my man of the match.  86%
Men! Oruma is wonderful. He realy marshalled that midfield. 85% (-the taiwo goal he would have been my man of the match)
Odemweinge was on top of his game. 82%
Yusuf had a good game.  78%
Obodo didn't particularly have a good game. 68%
Martins had on the whole a quiet game. 74%
Aghahowa wasn't in the game. 65%

The team as a whole play well but passes still need to be precise. (eg. like congo dr)

This stinks we better do better. A meet up with Cameroun is inevitable. We must build a stonger team. Cameroun is after the same thing. I predict Taye Taiwo and Mikel Obi will Have a good tournament but Once again only the experienced players can help us tackle Senegal. Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Cameroun if we meet which we will. I think it's Obafemi Martins, Julius Agahowa and John Utaka that can help us win the cup and maybe Okocha if he is in form. Kanu might sore a goal or two

Swish, you are right in your analysis, only that l rated Oruma higher than Taiwo
Good performance by the Eagles, hope they keep it up.
