Most Beautiful Thing
« on: May 29, 2007, 11:25 PM »

Crazy of me
insane you'd think
but put your feet in my place,
maybe then you'd appreciate.

She was a queen
reincarnation of Sheba
perhaps born of Aphrodite
devine charm and beauty.

'twas about an aura
some kind of glow about her
you couldn't miss it
like her brand mark.

Hard to describe
impossible to compare
a vision sublime,
likened to nothing else.

'n' I know angels
she sure wasn't one
more of a goddess
so heavenly she was.

In the eye of the beholder,
she appeared rather a dream
as light to a blind man,
longed to be seen.

Dimples when she smiled
scarlet lips, cocoa cheeks,
hypnotic lure in her eyes,
who wouldn't want this kiss

voice played tunes with her words
skin velvet as a newborn.
In Rome she'd be Venus
but to me, a little something more.

If she were a number,
she'd be an 8
great assets all over
'n' a perfect shape.

But what injustice
to see 'n' not believe
a stroke of madness
to know yet not agree.

Grace in her walk
elegance was the air she bore
'n' how she'd act ignorant of it all,
there's nothing more beautiful in the world.

i'd doffed my heart for you once b'4 . . . not ashamed to do so again!

this is a very nice piece; so smooth, very good for a reading . . sure banker to captivate a willing audience.

"she" must be your poetic "driving force" right ?

Yeah she is. And she's a poet too.

I didn't just write this. She actually went "Nejeeb, you best write me a poem, and it best be your best."

thanks anyhow RuuDie. I'll take time to peep your posts too.
