I was surfing online and on TMZ.com Oparah winfrey is been scruntinzed for saying she has some "good white folks working for her"; She recently said it in one of the schools in the states and have also said it on different occasions in different places. I don't have the facts yet and I don't bother on those kinds of celebrity issues only that this time some WHITE audiance claims she is a "racist" claiming that if Don Imus (an american news host) said something racial and got fired then the cable channel hosting opera should get her fired.
Do you think that OPERA WINFREY is racist? and do you feel her show can survive if the white audience decides to boycott her show? Hmmm, let me reserve my comments for now to see if this is an issue to say how i feel because I see it differently and I see opera as a good person at heart and also she never forgets her roots.

Oprah was actually complimenting the whites she had in her life.
Don Imus was putting down and insulting the blacks he never knew.
Oprah by the way owns her show, she can't be fired.

She can lose her talk-show, if advertisers choose to take their business elsewhere. If that comment of hers of having white folks working for her was not condescending, then it was a weak attempt to validate her status in America by having the 'esteemed' white race working for her.

That's the difference between Oprah and Imus.
Where Imus has been caught several times making deragotory remarks about Black Folks.
And forgiven because he is a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT.
Oprah has not made terrrible remarks about white folks. She simply tells the story of what her grandmother said to her: get some good white folks working for you.
