applauds your efforts joftech Smiley......................but

I'm sure he's heard>>>>>oh yeah man that's cool, wow, nice page yo keep it up, omg.....you're amazing............... to the point that he is cloudy on the whole realism of the efforts and skills of a Top Web Designer (overzealousness) no diss intended

All I'm saying is allow your skill to flourish into top designer status instead of allowing your font to fizzle it out.

No one person is all knowing in anything!

The NEPA/PHCN site is an example of plain frontpage with almost all the default settings. Gradually, companies are beginning to redesign websites to solve real business problems.

There is no week that passes that you don't see adverts by companies asking for people to redesign their sites.

Can you imagine what the website of Globacom looks like these days? www.gloworld.com

I find Nigerians to be  generally one-track-minded.  I've noticed that most of our websites are green.  What's up with that?

Out of a possible 16 million colors, green is the one we're stuck on.  C'mon guys!

Also, so many are caught in the flash craze.  When are we going to realise the flash sites do not do well in search engines?  You can create good sites without flash.  Just learn Photoshop.

Green is Glo's traditional colour. But if people also use green it shows their Naijaness.

Flash creates some effizzyness for people, hence the usage. Simple GIF animations will do better in most of those places, some people are just designing without the basic know-how.

That's the problem.  Unless you're buiding a government website, why limit your creativity to one color?

effizzyness?  What is that?

In any event, green is the color of money, dollar being green.  So most green sites are related to finance.

Basically, Nigerian designers ought to separate themselves from the green syndrome, and begin thinking as a web designer, not as a naija web designer.

well, someone tell oleku to either step up his work or know how to advice his client. most likely the latter, from what we see of k.ogungbe.

You're missing the point.

Yes, there are Indian coders, but by geolocation only, not by the output of their work.  Can you imagine if evey Indian chose colors based on their flag?  Which is what most Nigerians are doing today.

Sorry guys, for some reason i've not been notified of post and i've been busy with things, like setting up a forum for www.sexynaija.com at www.forum.sexynaija.com

Make una go go yab me as always o! Una kuku get phd for yabbing! Only that kris still has some lives left!

That kennis site sucks for real. Please don't talk about flash effizzy or whatever.  The trash animation is trash, i wonder why they did not have the guy that does the animation for their sunday musica show. That guy is bad with after effects. Who ever wants to fight me over my opinion about the kennis site should first view some of these sites before they talk.

And so many other ones i can't think of now, just visit www.newwebpick.com, www.thebestdesigns.com
To enjoy those sites you need a broadband connection, or at least be willing to  wait till it downloads.

Yes flash has it's disadvantages and advantages, as long as it works for your target audience.

You can still get high traffic to your site even if it's flash though.
