I don't see anything Zik did that isn't standard politics, he used his control of the party to get his will across. Just because the majority in the Eastern Parliament were Igbos does not imply they did what they did cause Zik was Igbo and Ita was not. You need to separate FACTS from your own extrapolation. Separate what happened from your own sentiments.

Why am I not suprised? So asking an elected public official (i.e. Eyo Ita), to divert public funds into a private enterprise, that will fund your (i.e. Zik) personal business, is "standard politics?" Then sacking that public official, for declining to obey what is clearly a fraudulent request, is "standard politics?" That's news to me!

Stop holding brief on something you clearly know little or nothing about. Read the proceedings of the Foster-Sutton Panel of Inquiry set up in 1953 to investigate that incident, before you jump to any conclusions.

So did the panel conclude that Eyo Ita was kicked out because he was Efik?. . .Because that is the issue here, not whether Zik was corrupt or not.

we will always respect you people, stop saying that we hate the igbos because that is a lie! don't put words in our mouths

Hmmn. . . I have spoon-fed you long enough with info. Kindly read the proceedings & draw your conclusions.  Wink

But I must confess, that I find your attempts to dodge the questions I initially posed to you, highly amusing.  Wink Now for the umpteenth time, kindly answer the question, because it is a very simple one: "If Eyo Ita were an Igbo man, and Efik or Ibibio politicians made him lose his seat, wouldn't you have taken them to the cleaners with your vile language?"  Let us know.  Tongue
