HeadStart : Graduate Development Programme.

The most successful pan-African mobile network is starting HeadStart, a
graduate development programme to fashion talented young graduates into
future business leaders. Successful applicants will start working under
the 15-month programme which will cover all of the 14 African countries
in which Celtel operates.
HeadStart will give graduates the opportunity to develop their
leadership skills and management and business knowledge in any of Celtel's core
business areas including sales, marketing, engineering, IT, human
resources and finance. Recruits will spend part of their programme working
in another Celtel operation.
With more than 7,000 employees and 17 million customers, Celtel which
is part of the MTC Group, is a fast growing company with numerous
opportunities to develop talented graduates.
We have great country teams which harness our deep knowledge of our
industry and local environment to deliver excellent service and provide
our customers with innovative solutions and services. Celtel depends on

We seek outstanding young graduates with the following qualifications:

” Honours degree (upper second class or GPA 3.0) obtained within the
year directly preceding application

” The ability to analyse problems logically and quickly

” Excellent communication skills

” The ability to adapt to new situations and circumstances

” A confident and ambitious approach to the working environment

” Geographical (workplace) flexibility

” Some previous work experience (e.g. internship) will be an
advantage
but is not required
