First Bank Pay Now 2.2 Million Naira?
« on: June 01, 2007, 05:45 PM »

I friend of mine who works with First Bank Of Nigeria Ltd, said First Bank pay has been reviewed according to him by 60%, making entry level pay now as high as N2.2M.

We had a heated argument because i think it not true.please house kindly contribute if its true good, but I just think it not a true gist.

Re: First Bank Pay Now 2.2 Million Naira? (THATS NOT TRUE)
« #6 on: June 03, 2007, 02:45 PM »

Hey folks. Pls let us cross-check our facts b4 posting misleading info. I work with FirstBank and there was indeed a pay rise but entry level gross pay is about N1.7m. After all deductions and variables are applied it can come as low as between N1.45m and N1.55m
Lets b true pls. All da best.

@need4job, serious as in?? What does 1st Generation connote? Anyway, the pay at FBN is definitely better now.

@koldfaya, yes you're right it's around N1.7m for entry level BUT you forgot to tell them that they only get the new pay AFTER confirmation, , and not BEFORE. Confirmation is around 12 months, give or take a month Grin But if you're still around by then, you get all your arrears, which makes for quite a tidy sum.

@Brakini, I knew I'd find you sooner or later,  Grin
Want answers "ASAP" do you now? U forgot to say please!
1- If you're still around means if you don't leave for another job as some of my mates did,
2- 12months confirmation is exactly what it means: You'll be confirmed after a probationary period of 12 months.
3- A tidy sum here means your arrears would have accumulated and you'd get a very good lump sum upon confirmation.

So where did they post you?? A rural branch i hope Tongue Maybe I'll chat with you on "Sametime" sometime (U'll understand this later).

i meant that nnpc pay 4 million as startup fee to bsc holders. this is paid once, only when you are employed to enable you setup yourself and is not a yearly payment.

As it's been said,  U're a big gurlie and that amount may mean nothing to you while it's alright with lot's of folks.

Don't compare the expenses over here with that of 9ja.

Usually, any sort of material will help. If you can scale the GMAT during practice at home under restricted/simulated test conditions, you should be good to go with other aptitude tests. It even gets better if you could get GRE material; pay attention to the numeric section. You could learn all sorts of useful tricks. And while you're online, check sites like http://www.crack-gmat.com/gmat-test.htm, and http://www.greguide.com/ to get a feel for aptitude tests; you could type the relevant keywords in a search engine like google.com to find more useful locations. Remember, what is called 'aptitude' can actually be developed by good practice, and: you'll be at a disadvantage if you don't prepare.

Good luck.
