Is There Anything As Too Much Beans Or Water?
« on: June 04, 2007, 09:49 AM »

Hi every body! Just worried about something. I think I consume too much of this 2 things- Beans and Water. Not for economic reasons as some may want to believe, but that I love eating beans and can't stop drinking water. Does anyone think there're side-effects to that?

Actually, it is possible to consume too much water!  This can lead to a condition known as water intoxication which is extremely dangerous and potentially fatal.

Do a Google search on it--there's plenty of information about it.

As to beans, while they are a good source of protein, fiber and a host of other nutrients, by no means are they a complete source of nutrition.  By all means, enjoy them, but remember to vary your diet, too.
