wife - oh mum, he doesnt like my cooking, what am i going to do?
mum - dear dear my child .... bla bla bla
then she goes, oh he's so handsome.

I think we should do more of these things, that is blast all the stupid adverts we are forced to watch and listen to. For more of these,

check out my blog: http://nigerianadverts
and I am looking at introducing images and videos too (soon)
perhaps even organizing a site at my expeses at least to reduce some of these adverts that so anger me especially when I am watching my favourite soaps (when you are mine - former, The gardner's daughter - present)

u,ve really  made me remember adverts that made me nostalgic.
Do you remember the omo advert; the clean girl and the not so clean girl.

girl 1:    " How come your clothe is always cleaner than mine?"
girl 2: " because my mom washes them"
girl 1;  " But my mom washes mine too"
girl 2; " well my mom uses super blue Omo"
Mom:   " that's true.

do you guys remember the ads that they had for,  i forget what sporting event that went on in Nigeria either in 97,98, or 99 that they had the songs in Hausa, ibo, yoruba and english.  I think the english one went like,
    Welcome to Nigeria,
i can't remember the rest, i was seven when i left, and i think i was 5 or 6 at the time the commercials were going on. if you remember please reply. i'm so homesick just thinking about Naija and stuff and i remembered the songs.
