Can never advise any Nigerian residing abroad to go in for the competition, just for the prize money. 33k Naira in Nigeria is a lot of money, but for under 300 dollars? Please get a part time job and let the money be given out to a needier person

Hey, that a very nice innitiative. Studies have shown that a very high % of Nigerian's don't read books, talk less of writing. We always like stuffs ready for our consumption and not ready to think and be creative.
Great one there mate, keep up the good work. I am writing a book right now and its not easy, but i got to pusch through, cause i don't think John Grisham, Steven King, Salmon Rushdie are NERDS. If you are joining in writing, don't place the 33,000 Naira on your mind; BE CREATIVE.

firstly,what happens to the copyright.
and am of the opinion that 33k is not a lot of money in nigeria because of inflation.most people will be broke before weekend if given 33k on a monday.also limiting the write ups to a couple of topics will create a basis to rate the write ups.u might just get really crazy write ups.
