I think the site goes on and off, just like our beloved NEPA ( now PHCN)! It was on when I pasted the link and now it's off! When next I notice that it's on I'll try to help you retrieve the information you need.

While we wait for the MTS site to come on, let me answer some of your questions.
1. The table top goes for N 13,000
2. No service charge( at least none that I know of)
3. I do not know your location, but if you are in Lagos, there is one along Adeola Hopewell in Victoria Island
4. MTS numbers goes like this 722xxxx
5. Not sure if they have internet services.
6. Prepaid card denomination, I see more of the N500 denomination
Well that's it, hope the info go a long way.

I used MTS 1st wireless between sept 2004 and may 2005. I have dumped them now. They are also located on Kudirat Abiola way (Oregun road). They have Internet Service which goes for 7,500 naira monthly for 24-7 access. its is the cheapest I know of. For more info, go to my blog. Hope this was of any help!

Can you please tell us why you "dumped" your MTS line. Does it have any thing to do with poor services, you mentioned that their internet services is the cheapest you know, what's their rate, I think the brother would like to know all these to help in decide if he can go ahead and buy one. The only problem I think MTS has for now is not enough coverage.

I concur with MTS and their poor network coverage, but it seems they are improving in ther coverage. from the text messages they have been sending their customers in recent times. I bought their phone in january '05, but unfortunately they did not have coverage in my area, and they just gave me reception late december (11 whole months.) My personal honest (and possibly informed) opinion about internet in lagos is this: All the PTO/ISP's in lagos (and probably nigeria) are all crap and lousy in just about every service they offer. If it's not crazy exorbitant bills, it's lousy internet service, or customer service. what justification can multilinks, intercellular and co. give for charging $100 (15000 naira)/month for 24/7 DIAL UP? And this is dial up of the lowest order, its really about 14 kbps(forget that 112kbps they say.) So i would say, go with the cheapest since the most or more expensive don't offer anything (much) better. So i would pitch my tent with MTS and save me some dough. But i won't advice anyone to even go near intercellular. I have used 4 ISP's now, and they are irritatingly lousy. they can give someone a heart attack if not careful. God help us with internet in Nigeria.
