I think it depends on what you consider as romantic. Then we should take it from country to country. I don't know about others but British boys are quite stingy. If you are talking of romantic as in holding out the door for you to pass, drawing out chair for you to sit, sending flowers, etc. well, maybe we could say white guys (but black guys also do that so what are we even talking about here!) But if you are talking of paying for everybody at the table just to impress one girl, I give it to Nigerian and Zimbabwean guys. They like to impress a lot and that makes them romantic. The only problem is that they usually refer back to it. For example, if he calls you the next day and you are still trying to pretend as if you don't know who is calling he will quickly say "Have you forgotten the guy that paid for you and your friends yesterday?!"  All in all, romance has nothing to do with race. Any guy can be romantic regardless of his colour. |

Find great difficulty in reading this forum about white guys being more romantic than black guys. You women must date unromantic black guys. Most women I have dated in my time have always had a good romantic time and they seem to talk about it for a long time. They are always desperate for a second date. personally, i think white gurls are also more romantic because they don't care about how rich or poor, how good looking or ugly, how well dressed or otherwise; they just see u and take u for whom u really are. Having said that, i wonder why black girls have this hostility towards white girls when they see them with black brothers? Is it not because they sense that inferiority in romance?

I'll start out by saying I'm a white girl and I'm dating a Nigerian guy right now. I don't think that the level of romance that I've had with him is really all that different than the level of romance I had with the white guys I dated. In fact I tend to think that the white guys I dated were rather superficial with their romantic gestures. My current boyfriend is much more considerate overall and I would take his short notes to let me know he's thinking about me over the dozen roses I've gotten in the past any day. I don't think it's a matter of one being more romantic than the other, I think it's simply a matter of what you really value when it comes to a relationship. Not saying that valuing flowers is bad, because they are nice, but just the same, it's not something that would make or break the relationship for me.
