I know of girls that are not so good-looking but have found love. The problem, I have noticed, is that you Nigerians are so superficial (you value outward beauty too much) that you think people are brought together by beauty. There's more to a woman than just her beauty. Her eyes, lips, legs etc will take you nowhere. You may find a perfect girl/wife in that plain girl so to speak. And please do not think that I am writing this because I am plain or ugly. I can confidently tell you that I am a beautiful woman, and the men who piss me off most are those that approach me with this line 'You are so beautiful, I just had to come say hallo to you.' No problem in appreciating beauty, but if the sole reason a man wants me is because he loves my legs, etc, I say go to hell. Learn other qualities about me first, because that way, I will know that the man is beyond shallow. And besides, under good make-up, huh! any woman can look like a beauty queen. Beauty is skin deep and if this topic is anything to go by, I see a lot of UGLY men with beautiful women (I have never been to Nigeria but I know many Nigerian couples and this beauty-and-the-beast scenario is soooooooo common with you Naijas). So, if your ugly men find love, why not the women? |
