Normally i would be happy to see naija scammers get a taste of their own medicine but this particular scam bait has gone too far.
It all started off early this year when someone from the 419eater forum called Scam Patroller decided to bait some poor naive scammer who sent the email below

http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=99584&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Subject: PLEASE HELP ME
To: xxxxx@WhiteHouse.gov

A FREIND,

THIS MAIL MAY COME TO YOU AS A SUPRISE, BUT I TRUST MY MIND AND BELEIVE THAT I AM WRITTING TO THE RIGHT PERSON.

MY NAME IS {xxxxx xxxxx}, I AM 33 YEARS OLD, SINGLE AND POOR ONLY BECAUSE IREFUSED TO ACCEPT AN OFFER FROM MY TOWN PEOPLE AS AN ORACLE PREIST WHICH MY FATHER CONFIRMED AS BEEN INHERITTED FROM THE PAST FATHERS.

I HAVE TRIED MY BEST IN LIFE TO COME UP AS A MAN BUT ALL EFFORT ALWAYS PROVES NOTHING.I WAS MADE TO UNDERSTAND THAT EITHER I FACE THE WORK OR I BECAME MORE WRETCHED.

I HAVE MADE A CONVENANT WITH GOD THAT I MUST LIFT HIS NAME HIGHER MORE FOREVER THROUGH SINGING CHRISTIAN ALBUMS AND SACRIFYING MY LITTLE TALENT IN CHRISTIAN LIFE ACTIVITIES THAN SACRIFYING ORACLE.

THEY SAYS: {DESIRE GOOD ACHEIVED LEADS TO SUCCESS IN LIFE} I NEED YOUR HELP TOWARDS THIS MISSION.

I WOULD LIKE TO ENTER MUSIC SCHOOL,AND AT THE SAME TIME STUDY BIBLE FOR SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT.

NB:-READ THIS CHAPTERS IN THE BIBLE AS FOLLOWS:- PSALM 128 AND 127 FOR 7 DAYS AND NIGHT, YOU ARE GOING TO COUNT A BIG BLESSING FROM GOD AND IF TOUCHES YOUR MIND TO REMEMBER THIS POOR SOUL,

FELL FREE TO CONTACT ME THROUGH THE EMAIL ABOVE.

WISHING YOU THE BEST IN LIFE

REMAIN IN GODS PROTECTION AND GUIDIANCE.

YOURS IN SPIRIT .

Dear xxxxx xxxxx,

Thank you for your email, it came to me as a surprise.

I am very interested in learning a lot more about the oracle handed down by your past fathers, is it a very powerful oracle? As the President of the United States of America, I have great power, and such an oracle would be of great use to me in fighting the axis of evil.

I see from your email that you have made a pact with God, well I believe that God has brought us together for the common good of all men on earth, this can only be fate. Like you, I also have a great interest in singing, I am a good Christian man and sing at the White House church service every Sunday, some may say I am not very Christian, but that's only because of my Job as President of the United States of America, a lot of people hate me, but I have no time for those losers, we are the winners, they are the losers. Please tell me in detail, everything you hope to achieve in your life.

When you reply to me, you must only ever use my personal email address, this one:

xxxxx@xxxxxxxx

Never send any emails to my xxxxx@WhiteHouse.gov address from where I am sending you this email now, that is strictly for presidential use only, and I may not receive your emails as they are strictly monitored by my chief of staff.

Sincerely,

Gxxxxx W Bxxx .

Since then the guy has sent a video of himself and his friends performing YMCA by the village people

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0t-iaq9nzo
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=YMCA+scammer&search=Search
http://naijaman.cfmxdeveloper.co.uk/diary/2007/05/naijas-village-people.html

The lead singer in the 'group' is the mugu being scammed, The guy is obviously deluded or really really stupid.

Initially i had found the whole thing funny but it has got to stop as they are now asking him to send naked pictures. (which it seems he is going to send soon)

The guy sent out a scam email 'asking for Help', its not as if he sent out a 419 email. They've had their fun by getting him to spend all his money doing a recording and a video, but its time for it to stop, so if anyone knows the guy in the video please tell him to stop emailing George W Bush ; - )

i think he uses a cybercafe somewhere in festac town in Lagos

TonyDee, You are a FREAK! Scammers are the most annoying scum in society and so are you for trying to look out for him! you should both be strung up by your tiny balls! wink

TonyDEE, which one you dey? It takes a scammer to pity another scammer! Since you know the cyber cafe that your friend is using, then you are in a better position to help him out. When last did u visit forum.419eater.com? Your "mugu" friend has already sent his nude pics as at Friday 15th June so i guess that it is too late for you to help him in that wise. But you need to advise him to send clearer nude pics as demanded, you can help him get better digital camera, take him to a better location for quality shorts and probably pose along with him for better effect.

Go ahead shoot the messenger.

i'm sure if you had all spent just a few minutes engaging the thick jelly like blob in your heads (that is mistakenly called a brain) by actually reading the post, you'll realise that at no point did i support what the guy did. If there was any proof needed that only people who can read should use the web, this is it.

I feel sorry for the guy and the desperation he feels, that the penny hasn't dropped shows how deluded he is.
That our citizens are forced to humiliate themselves this way is a sad reflection of the state of our nation. That ignorant fools should respond to the initial post with dumb ass remarks, is also a sad reflection of how we don't care about anybody but ourselves and then we wonder why the country is in such a bad state.

came to the conclusion , Is this what we have been reduced to ?, its a case of a desperate situaion requiring a desperate solution, the poor chap is trying to find a way out.

The question we need to ask is WHY is this happening, surely if the scammers were gainfuly employed they would not be scamming others.

It will be stupid and callous of anyone in his right senses to have any form of pity for these low-life people who continuously drag the name of Nigeria in the mud. I feel sorry for you TonyDEE. Think of a better business and venture into it instead of making a role model out of the idiot 419 boy.
