We will all have different views,based on the way things are in our various locations,[/b]my view is that some black women could be financially dependent, but so it is with some white women, (especially in big cities). i agree that location plays a big part. where i live, the women are loud and ghetto and dirty. they always want to fight even over the littlest and stupid things. they bump into you without saying excuse me or sorry but the minute you bump them, man it is on. they start running their mouth, cursing non- stop. they think it makes them look cute but really, they look stupid.

@naija diva, I heard it's like that bad up north. I have some friends from there and one that's from here, but works in NY now. She said it's really different. People look at you crazy if you speak (say hello). It's like everyone is suppose to walk around not looking or speaking (being nice). No one said excuse me or anything. And the girls do think it's cute to curse ppl out and act ghetto. It's sad that that's the standard now. It's even like that to a certain degree in some neighboorhood down here.

i'm not in the north, however the far up you go, the meaner the people get. people in ny, for example are meaner than us. the downer you go like nc,ga, sc, the nicer they get. i don't know why its like that but that's just how it is. i know people that do to georgia all the time and said that the people there are so nice. my freind said she didn't like it because they were to nice and everytime she wanted to start trouble, they ignore her.(which of course doesn't make sense.) all i know is that i refuse to be associated with such people and bad behavior. when you walk down the street and someone says hello to you, everyone's first impression is why you talkining to me and i'll have to admit that i do that to. i don't know why, but that's how we act up here.

I can see that you just start dealing with a white woman and now you wanna use that to run down the sistas, there is no break-up that dont come with bitterness, and i think some bitteness is nothing but out of the love and frustration of how many years ot months has been wasted with you in da relationship, however, when a white lady is in love with you, she could have a mood or feeling swing at anytime, it is only a white lady that will invite you over for the weekend and at the mid of the night, tell you to walk out and uf you dont leave, olopa will come and get you out, when a sister is in love with you, they are in love with you and they will go extra mile to show you love and make you feel good.

canada of course is in the north but we are talking about the northern states in the US territory. i know canadians are very nice.

I'm not sure about Canadians, but yes I meant the Northern states. I don't think this will ever change anytime soon b/c ppl are always trying to impress ppl. So you'll have the ones where "oh, this is how I grew up, it's all I know" and then the ones that are "I have to act like this to impress him, her or them". It's a never ending cycle that I fear will never change. It's kind of like it's breed into them, if anyone can understand. I also feel that slowly, but surely it will trickle down into the southern states even more.
