I applied for my mom to come and visit me in the US. Every document is ready, but I can't get an interivew date. there is no interview date till 2009. I don't know if there is any way around this.

Same experience, tried making an appointment for my mum and the appointment system shows that the dates are either fully booked or unavailable.tried sending an email and all i got was that we should have booked earlier and that they would try to open up appointment dates whatever that means.

Unfortunately this booking online system lets a lot of people clogg up the system since booking does not guarantee the person will show
some people book just for a lark
tr get someone who works in the embassy to book u a date , they understand some people don't show up If its important there are concessions
