I don't see the big deal. When Klinsman was Germany's coach,he lived in California,US.In Germany's case, most of the players play in the Bundesliga, yet the coach still stayed in California and did a good job.Almost all our players play in Europe. If the players themselves stay in Europe, what is wrong with the coach staying there as well?

The truth is that this man don use google search discover say nigeria no dey pay coaches. Remember d rumour that he's resigned. I guess on a second thought the man refuted that so that nfa 'll sack him. He knows should nfa sack him, he'll gain alot of money.
Didn't y'all hear d news that the guy has escaped back to berlin when nfa was waiting for him to attend a meeting?
Smart business coach.

bottom line is to achieve results, like someone rightly said, klinsman did same, and achieved results.which makes sense,if he stays in naija & doesn't achieve results or if he stays in europe and does?

What do we need a german for?with all those retired nigeria talented footballers, such a shame,we don't believe in ourselves.
chidichris (m)
Re: Vogts: 'I Cannot Live In Nigeria'
« #58 on: June 23, 2007, 11:36 AM »

what is all these arguements all about? the fact that a nigerian born person could stay abroad for only 2 years and experience how sweet live is, when he comes to nigeria, he will see an oposite side of his expereince.
the truth of the matter is that a real german man with a lot of goodies in life would have not accepted the contract but those ogunje people must have preached him into it so that they will make out enough money for themselves.
how are we going to ask vogts to stay without light? how are we going to convience him to fly local flights that fall on daily bases? how is he going to cope with mosquitoes in nigeria?
what about armed robers? police harrasments and bribry? our gutters (roads) are not passing cars as against the ever speed on signalled roads in his country. who among us can cope?
if they want him to teach football, he will. if they want him for business then enough of their newspaper rantings.
they are all learned and shld know when they are signing a big contract with big clauses.

chidichris, there are so many oyibos that live in Nigeria
and even many more that have been living in Nigeria for so many years!

we give them the best of treatment, they dont feel the pact of mosquitos,
we provide good cars and drivers to take them round
they get the kind of treatment reserved for  celebrites in their own place! Angry
SO WHAT IS HE SAYING? Angry

South Africa has bad crime record, yet Carlos Alberto lives there, who by the way is a world class coach compared to Vogts!

Vogts is just giving cockamamy excuses!

he didnot even say much when we lost, suddendly he has found his voice
nonsense Angry
