Trust me 300 is more classier than Gladiators. How often do you see slow mo' epic battle films that will make you want to watch it over and over again. I have watched dozens of old war battle flicks but 300 broke the defination of how to make one just like the matrix did. Tell me you weren't in awe when you saw leonnidis single handly brush aside his enemies especially with the shield slamming the face of one of those goons in a 360 mode slow motion, c'mon now that's priceless viewing  |

Both films are quite rubbish in my opinion
Pretentious grandstanding masquerading as historical entertainment.
if only Gladiators fought such long fights in Gladiator or they all had supple muscles like the persians in 300.

300 was a nice movie, but c'mon guys, remove the technology. Cut out all those SFX and what do u get? A solid boo for 300 because what really made it was the effects. Gladiator had a pretty story and nice love angle. And the ending was superb.
