I think why the song touches me so deeply is that I can relate to his situation. I mean my love has not left me, but we are miles apart. Whenever I hear certain love songs, I really really want to turn off the radio.  ee yah fa!  you really should turn of the radio then. |

Thats my sentiment exactly whenever the song starts. - stop singing this song, just turn off the Radio, Just burn the darn calender, it cant be that hard. But by the end of the song, I realise the guy is speaking the truth. Love is hard to endure and yet hard to abandon.

I know exactly what you're talking about, it can be really hard. but then again, life goes on! It beats me though that "so sick" is the only"sad/sorrowful" song on the album, the rest are all about love and ummmm,stuff  Now i am seriously considering taking back the idea that u should get it because it might just make u even more sad.Unless of course, you're not really sick of love songs(because that's all he's got on his album). I know my sigg says i am, but not in a thousand years will i be sick of love songs  (i hope). |

I could see him and couldn't take my eyes off him either crystal clear in "so sick" though. Heard this song again today on my way back from work, (its on heavy rotation on 93.7), found myself wondering "But what made her leave?"
Let's play a game and speculate what made Neyo's love leave? Considering he obviously loves her.
We usually fight those we love when we are together, and the when they go we start missing them. I bet he was fighting her when she was there. Then maybe they had a big quarrel and she couldnt take it any more.

Writing this song was actually very therapeutic for me. well,well,well! How does he expect to turn off the radio after breaking a girl's heart for a very absurd reason? Arrrrgggghhhhh!!! NEYOoooooooooooo!!! I still love him though and would like to believe he now knows better than to let his"freinds" dictate what he should and shouldn't do.(especially if it concerns the one he loves). |
