This might make better sense for those who grew up in the nineties, but who remembers the good old days of NTA for kids? Before DSTV came and took over? I remember I couldn't wait for 4 O'clock on weekdays, early morning shows on saturdays, and late sunday evenings, because I loved the cartoons and shows on the air then.
Most memorable week-time shows:

Muppet Babies
Sesame Street
Junior Debate
Children's variety
Saturdays:
Anything on Cabdury's breakfast television. I used to wake up VERY early for that one.

Voltron  G force Super Ted the rest were boring. i'm from the 80s anyway. amazing spiderman captain scarlet victor and hugo commander mark (the artist) there was this show about 2 dogs (2 men a dog costumes). can't remember. i can't remember most of their names anymore. man ... i was a TV freak. |

me too and you couldn't be a bigger TV freak than me back then off the top of my head i can remember Captain Caveman Scooby and Scrappy Doo Speed Racer Jason of Star Command Banana Split Super Globetrotters The Cattanooga cats Skatebirds The Muppet Show Bigfoot and Wildboy Dynomutt (Blue falcon and Dog Wonder) Then there was a local show on Channel 10 with some guy called 'Uncle Wole', i can't remember what it was called. |

i have to hand it to you. i can't even remember those if i tried.  how could i forget speed racer? here he comes, here comes speed racer
he's a demon on wheels.  captain caveman rocked. for some reason, i never really liked dynomutt maybe because he was sort of a robotic scooby-doo. and scooby doo annoyed me. scrappy was the only reason i'd watch scooby doo. and yes, i remember "Danger Mouse". |
