8 years in Arsenal with how many starts?

had martins stayed longer @ Inter would he have started 10 games last season? with the arrivals of Crespo and Ibrahimovic? Face reality man, Martins arrival couldn't stop Roeder from being sacked after ending the season as one of their worst ever, ironically (maybe due to the crisis though) Inter won the league after years of barreness.

Was Luca Toni ever known for his goal scoring ability? How old is he now? Sure many like you would have labelled him "useless" back in those days.

I always tell people, criticize a player constructively because if you could do half you should be earning megapounds somewhere not sitting at the pc throwing yabs at people slugging it out on the pitch, even if they lash out @ your darling coach. Grin  No offence o, but Aliadiere is not "Hopeless", let's count the stats come december!

@ Loyika,

i've not heard Gareth Southgate complain oh. . . . . .  if the only thing Ali does well enough is to assist other players to score, who cares as long as the goals go in and the club rakes points. . . .  who will care Huh

@sprezatura,

even myself i was so disappointed when he missed that sitter. . . .  but players have missed much more glaring chances and that ain't the worst u've ever seen i would want to believe . . . .

why give Aliadiere so much attention, the guy had crap written all over him when he was in Arsenal. Boro might be a different case.

Like i said he did not meet the standards at Arsenal, doesn't mean he's crap. like they say one man's crap is another man's dinner

He may be good for Boro but not good enough for Arsenal, levels dey even for football clubs, thats y the likes of Downing are not being sought after by the big 4

@ Ruu-Die we all know Ali flatters to deceive.

At liverpool, the boy gave some fantastic assists to help Craptista shine, but after that what happened? back to zilch

No one is saying he doesn't have talent, afterall he must've had some talent in the first place for Wenger to have bought him. But that little talent he has is obviously not good enough for the biggest stage i.e. the premiership, he'll be better off in the championship or in the SPL, but not at the highest level.

Mark my words, he won't score 5 goals this season. He'll give a few brilliant flashes from month to month, before going down injured for a  third of the season and playing crap till the end.

Ali may not be crap @ boro afterall, there are two seasons in a season, the first half and the second half. Yakubu is known for scoring 15 goals in the first half while Viduka is surely a late starter. Looking at what happened last season ali scored towards the end of the first and the begining of the second.

Kanu is also a good starter just as i hope Utaka won't run out of steam. Martins also ended the first half of last season on a good note. Tuncay Sanli with all the hype is yet to score a deflected goal while proud and big mouthed Mido scored a lucky goal on his debut. With Ali's pace and hungry strikers in the team Ali should provide assists if not goals and that alone would be okay.

Watch out for Ali against Arsenal, that one is a sure bet. Wink

(p:s: if boro sells Yak like I think they would, I don waka be that)

I said this some months ago and look at what happened yesterday?  Shocked
