Science/engineering Board?

I have been looking for somewhere where I can start a discussion about the state of many bridges, such as the third mainland bridge, but there seems to not be a place where i can put it. I don't want to talk about it in politics, because the entire thread will divert to talking about the federal government. I think that there should be a board specifically for science and engineering, as there are many interesting topics that can be discussed within it.
