What A Shame To Nigeria As Andy Uba Nominated As Fct Minister

Where is Nigeria going as Andy Uba (the crook) is expected to be the Federal Capital Territory Minister. This guy was given a blank cheque to choose whichever ministry he wanted as he chose FCT. Abuja is for sale as a whole. Shame on you YarAdua as you nominated a fake Doctor of Business Administration.

Don't worry yourself, that Uba family is going to get into deep mess this time around.

Am still collecting my thoughts, don't know how to react. But am guessing yardua is just taking obj's formula: in 1st term please the party (remember obj's 1st term he appointed the likes of ciroma, danjuma, graham douglas, asiodu etc) then in 2nd term get the reformers like obj. We're paying the price of an uncompetitive political space. I only hope he doesnt spoil el rufai's hardwork.

HOW THE MINISTER WILL EMERGE
Each of the 36 states nominated three persons. From the list, President Umaru Yar’Adua shortlisted a name from each state and sent to the Senate.

He sent the names along with the six he picked from each of the geo-political zones. Under the 1999 Constitution, the Senate is empowered to ratify the list of ministers before the appointees resume office. Besides, they are to face a Senate panel where they will answer questions about their suitability for the job.

But am having a rethink - the chances of uba becoming FCT minister is as unlikely as an igbo man becoming lagos gov. Just keeping it real. What is raji razaki doing on that list 4 jeeeez sake. Obanikoro is just pure patronage, they shld put him at a position he'll not clash with lagos govt. If antecedence is considered, Bode Augusto may just be finance minister and dora akunliyi as health minister. But generally the list is uninspiring. Still need to know the experience behind the names.

If at all Andy Uba is going to become a Minister, he should be made the Minister of Sports. That is one area of Nigeria that is in complete shambles. It is also a good place for him because despite the fact that messing up the sports ministry will not bring the whole nation down, but sports fans are very sensitive and vocal. When the whole country starts complaining, they will eject him. Personally though, I believe there's an evil plot to completely make a mockery of the Ubas and completely ruin them before discarding them.

i wonder why too many people are so surprise that uba is to be a minister.
is it not obvious that in nigeria, it has been a case of no victor, no vanquished since the end of Biafra/nigeria war.
obj was angry with yar aduar for adhearing to the verdicts of the supreme court over uba so the only way out is to ask him what he wants to avoid obj back with a third term bid again.
as we are talking, nigeria belongs to obj and it is only God that will save us.
this is a one clear case where all of here who believe in efcc shld begin to think twice.
uba's case in the usa is a clear case, established by the law enforcement agents and decided by a law court found him guilty and gave him an option of fine which he paid and forfeited most of the property bought with the money and the remaining money in the account. yet he was made a governor against the wishes of his people forced out again by the supreme court and now on a ministrial list. what a shame? where in the world does a crimal confirmed by a law court becomes a preacher of war against corruption?
where in the world will an uba with a record worst than a renowed crimnal will context for a governor?
it is only in a nigeria owned and controlled sole handly by obj/yar adua group of companies.
by the way, does the birth of this administration gave any hope of changes to any well meaning nigerian?
for me, i will be surprise if the list end up without such man like our able and most inteligent Adedibu not after all his efforts in delivering pdp.
please the senate and efcc shld quick join me in the campaign for Adedibu for minister of petrolium or at least minister of defence or even the minister of education. those who work must eat and let the case of adedibu not be different. yar adua my foot.

I feel it is high time they made an Ibo man the minister of the Federal Capital. The problem is that El Rufai is doing so well and secondly Andy Uba is not an Ibo man: he's a thief! It will make no difference to the Ibos if this Prodigal is made the Minister of the WORLD.

i agree, i would like him to go over to the sport ministry, he can't get fct, the oppostion to that post will overwhelm him and his powerbrokers

Engr Al-Hassan is the exectuive secretary not the minister though he was in acting capacity

If That list was true then The Yar'Adua sef is up to no good Imagine crooks like Andy Uba, Even Obanikoro that thief , cheat, Arsonist who burnt down Lagos city Mall as chairman, whose  age revolves between 1954 and 1960, who has like 15 social security numbers in the US That crook called Obanikoro.  Oh My God.

I say Y'ardua has inherited one heck of a mess!  When Uba was booted out of Anambra state, I knew there was a catch.  Let's wait and see what happens!  Na wah for Nigeria oh!

If Yaradau appoints that gate crasher as FCT Minister that will be his end. For me that cannot happen, it must not happen. That chief thieve and  the chairman of Agboro Park should not smell any appointment. He should go and mourn for trying to bribe Judiciary to deny judgement on the clear justice. He should be ashamed of himself for imposing himself on poeple he has not done anything to. I couldnt imagine why he was saying that Peter is incharge of Govt house while he is incharge of Anambra state.

It will be a political blunder to out nation Nigeria. Some whose people rejected is coming to rule Abuja, Gwari people should protest! otherwise he will sale them and their properties to Obj and likes.
