How many plane crashes do you hear in a season? What about the rate at which road accidents happen?
One plane crash is a world news, but a hundred road accidents in one day is just another story.
Plane travel is safer. Control your fobia. OK?

air plane is surely the safest means of tranportation in Nigeria just like it is in other parts of the world.
in terms of statistics, accidents on road far out numbers plane crashes (but then the number of cars on the road far out numbers the number of air planes)
that said, Nigerian aviation sector is undergoing a reformation owing largely to the hundreds of lives lost a few years back.
this tranformations currently going on is well timed which is warranted my very first sentence
the various agencies concerned with avation matters are living almost up to expected
more airlines are coming into Nigerian airspace
there is increased competition in terms of service and safety

basically, the aviation sector in Nigeria has undergone massive change since 2006
a lot more still need to be done
but in trems of safety, commuters can largely feel safer now than they did some 6 months back.

for those who still feel uncomfortable with the aviation sector, bravo!
since it is comments and feeling like yours that actually started the changes in the first place.
