yes !

its started out with stunners already; Uruguay got a whooping last night 3-0 to Peru  Shocked Recoba didn't play- had some injury probs. Forlan couldn't find his form as the Peruvians were absolutely cracking ! Pizarro and J. Farfan were quite influential! Miguel Villalta, Juan Carlos Marino and Paolo Guerrero were on target for Peru.

hosts Venezuela and Bolivia played out an exciting 2-2 draw. Bolivia twice coming from behind !
the Venezuelan coach Richard Paez's son is also playing in the team - he actually set up the first Venezuelan goal  Smiley

@ Kitaun,

Argentina is my team any day.
Riquelme's You-turn was the best news this year for me save Man Utd's Prem title.
Argentina is rich with young players like Messi and Tevez so Brazil's ass will be kicked back n forth.

yeah, Argentina was my team way back in W/C of 1986 held in Mexico, so see the relationship Wink

but I feel the Argies would be up to the task, that of ensuring Brazil don't lift the trophy Cheesy

No kaka, Ronaldinho, Dida, Edmilson, Lucio and Ronaldo; Brazil certainly looked light-weight on the night! couldn't believe my eyes when i saw Craptista on the bench - Wagner Love and Robinho not quite the ideal strike partnership.

Ecuador vs Chile was a real stunner! Ecuador led twice but lost it late in the game to a beautifully taken free-kick.

wonder why UEFA clubs don't go 4 latino golkeepers; those guys fly through the air like birds!
your club just bought a bulgarian golkeeper from Levski Sofia - what for ?

you guys never cease to astound me - i've always said that Liverpool have so many players, that they don't know what to do with 'em and the most annoying thing is that most of these players are far-from spectacular! they're just average players and it just don't help!

Argentina seem to have a lot of fans this time around.

The Argies are really serious about the COPA this time around too, for the first time in a long while they're taking a strong squad to the COPA - usually, they'd have taken a large chunk of their You-21 and other untried players but its been 14yrs since they last won it and recent disappointments at the Confedy / World cups have made 'em hungry for success.

if by some unfortunate stroke of bad-luck they don't win this one, there'll be 'nuff grief in Buenos Aires!
