Argentina didn't turn up.

Erm, erm, they did turn up but Brazil came with a game plan to disrupt the flow of the Argentines.
Its like what Bolton does to Arsenal. Close down on the engine room which was Riquelme.
He was fouled more than 1000 times . . . . . . . . .With the engine bombarded, there was no flow from Riquelme thus cutting supplies to Messi n Tevez.
Brazil deserved it but the score line is flattering.

As for the flying eagles, My heart bleeds for 'em.
They were shit. I have never seen a team as terrible as them represent Nigeria in major competition.
Ohenhen, Adepoju, Mikel Obi, Pius Ikedia and Aghahowa will be grossly disappointed to see what the team has degenerated into.
No strength in-depth, no midfield maestro and technically, no play-maker.
A well-trained Nairaland team would beat this crop of players.

How d times are changing. . . Brazil have always been a model 4 good, +ve football but last night revealed a rather unknwn, unpopular side of their game.

@ Ruudie,
Stop sulking. . . . . . .  Shit happens in football.
I have put it behind me. I lost 100 pounds bet plus Nigerian flying crawling eagles crashing out as well, it's a shitty weekend but there are positives.

Enough competitions are coming up to brighten up the whole schitzo.
So there's light at the end of a dank tunnel. . . . . .

First all, it's the ASIAN CUP on July 24.
Liverpool, Fulham FC, Portsmouth and South China FC will be participating

Next on the roll is the EMIRATES tournament on July 28.
Inter Milan, Arsenal, Valencia and PSG will be slugging it out to win.

Whats more . . . . .
The AMSTERDAM tournament starts again on the 2nd of August.
Arsenal, Lazio, Ajax and Athletico Madrid will grace the tournament.

Lastly,
Its the ROTTERDAM tournament in Holland on the 3rd of August.
Liverpool, Feynoord, Porto and Shanghai Shenua will do their battle.

All these matches will fill the void till the COMMUNITY SHIELD on the 5th of August.
So it's FOOTIE all the way till the Premiership kicks off on the 11th of August plus these matches actually allows United faithfuls to have a good view of the title challengers like Arsenal and Liverpool.
Chelski shouldn't pose a problem!!!!!!!!!!

Cheer up, mate!!!!!!!!!!!!

brazil came out with a good game plan. marked out ROMAN the engine room, distributor they fouled him so many times thereby distorting their play pattern which means messi and tevez have to come and look for the ball and even if they had the ball, they were not allowed so much time on the ball. brazilian then made use of the fast ball that took the argentines off guard. i really wanted argentina to win but brazil took it

Re: Copa America 2007

RIQUELME was still the best player on the pitch last night.
He was fouled so many times and i believe the Referee didnt protect him as he could have done.
If that was a Premiership game, Riquelme could have made 5 Brazilian players cop red cards EASILY.

The supply was zapped by those gorilla looking Brazilian midfielder.
Brazil threw away sexy football for Bolton-like football.
They didn't win it pretty and they knew it was the only way they could contain a rampant Argentina.
Brazil won it the way Man United stopped Arsenal's unbeaten run at OT. Grin
Kicking everyone off the park.

Okay so the Brazilian midfielders were supposed to be clapping for him when Riqualme is playing?? What an excuse!!!!

When Maradona scored that wonder goal against England in 1986 Terry Butcher and co were clapping for him or watching T.V right? When Ronaldinho was dribbling the english defence in 2002 were they not trying to mark him or were they clapping for him too , When Ronaldinho destroyed Milan in 2006 was Gattuso clapping for him?

Football is a contact game not table tennis or snooker. in Confederation cup in 2005 the same Riquelme was bottled up by the brazilians maybe they kicked him also.

Riquelme and those Argies should be ashamed of themselves Brazil with a second string side beat them 3-0 with Vagner Love and co God I can't beleive this.

Chuck,
Ronaldinho, kaka, Adriano and co flogged them in confederation cup final in 05

Now  Vagner Love oh Gosh, Baptista  awwh, and those Brazilian team 6

because no Juninho, No Fred , No Cris, Cacapa, Gomez, Alfo Alves and they beat the best Argentina have to offer tell me who did not come in Argentina Abondanzieri, Ayala, Zanetti, Heinze, Milito, Veron, Cambiaso, Messi, Crespo, Tevez and the great one RIQUELME and they were walloped when it comes to diving, Hand of God and cheating Argentina is king Then come to clean football great dribbles Brazil has it Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Kaka, Robinho,e.t.c even the great MARADONA was either playing volleyball on the football pitch, sniffing stuff or diving e.g US 1994
