kai no :oi used limewire to get a couple of things and it crashed my computer as a result of virus infection and all that go to google and download bitcomet. . . set it up on your system and go to torrent sites like torrentscan.comthere u can get virtually anythingif u need more feedback hit my addyi just downloaded gta san andreas  . . .its fun |

Yes, I dare say. You usually don't get clean executable stuff from Limewire. Most of them have viruses. It's great for music and video though,

get BitLord or Emule. . . or both. ,
they are both free. ,
Emule has very good inbuilt search and alot of games, movies etc. ,
BitLord is torrent based(so you do your search at mininova or isohunt) and is faster but doesnt have as much stuff as Emule. . .
whichever you choose. they first thing you should do is download your favourite antivirus with it and install,
then you can do your P2P downloading without much fear of viruses.
you still have to be a little careful though

sorry i am finding it very difficult to download files from torrent websites, once i drag a link and paste at the floating ballon it doesn't start downloading. please can u advice me on what to do as i am very much frustrated and am contemplating deleting the software from my system and trying limewire.

havent used bitcomet.most sites have downloaders that usually work quite well.some specify specific ones.checkout www.mininova.com. they have quite a bit of content and some excellent torrent downloaders. havent used bitcomet,so i lack experience with it.tell me where u downloaded it from tho, n i can look into how it works. |

hello, Thanks for your quick reply, i am already downloading limewire but if it doesn't work I can opt for the one you suggested, ok. I downloaded the nonsense Bitcomet by going to Google and typing Bitcomet.com and it took a whole lot of my time before it downloaded almost 5 hours.

several guys have adviced on this page . . . "DO NOT USE LIMEWIRE"
And, if you go to a torrent site, u need the required software. .
Bitlord, Bittorrent or any of the other torrent clients will do .
