Nigeria vs. Morocco (flying eagles, WYC semi-final)
« on: June 28, 2005, 07:12 AM »

Today at about 7:30pm, Nigeria will be locking horns with their Moroccan  counterparts for the semi-final of the ongoing WYC.  What is your Prediction?

You could remember that Nigeria is the African champions beating Morocco 6 months ago in Benin Republic in the semi-final.  Nigeria came from behind two times to level up and eventually won on penalty kicks.  The Moroccans are talking tough; they have vowed to revenge their lost to Nigeria 6 months ago.

Predict!  What will today look like?

Yes oh! the Morrocans  definitely won't be an easy nut to crack. The flying eagles should not loose concentration as it has always been the case with them. I see them winning the match, they have a good coach who motivates them in any way he can, by the way, give it up for Coach Samson Siasia, he donated his bonus to the players just to motivate them.

My prediction? 3-1 in favour of Nigeria of course.

Our "young old men" shouldn't have too many problems with the young Moroccan lads.  Nigeria wins 3 - 1.

Eh? I'm just "hoping" Nigeria wins. We're very "capable" of messing up. Look at what happened against South Korea.

Why do people still bring this up? I don't think our team fakes the ages of the playes. at least no more than other countries

The Under-20 team is referred to as "Flying Eagles".  The senior team is called "Super Eagles".  The under-17 team is known as "Golden Eaglets!"
