Hi, i have this believe that most people hate their jobs but they still find it difficult to leave it.
Is it because of the money or job satisfaction?

Whenever I have to deal with yet another spammer/scammer, I hate my job. But when I get paid, I love my job. Most people, like me, have certain aspects of their jobs that they hate, but this is balanced out by the other aspects of their job that they love. For example, getting paid. Or working in an air-conditioned office. Being treated with more respect by people if the job is prestigious. Getting an official car. Representing the Managing Director at important functions. Getting to decide who is allowed to see the boss (secretaries and receptionists).  So I don't hate my job. It's much better than having nothing to do and no income at the end of the month. However, if your company doesn't give you the resources you need to do a good job, you'd truly hate your job. |

it is estimaied that it is only 2 out of every 100 people that love their jobs. and the reason is simply because they are afraid of going back into the labour market and search for jobs which are scare.

I hate my job!!! But it wasn't always like this over time my job description has changed and now i hate coming in every morning, Why am i still here? Money of course definitely not job satisfaction. Also do you know how competitive the job market is at the moment? I just i have to hold don to what i have until i get a job that would give me job satisfaction and i don’t mind doing this with a pay cut.

as for me, i don't really enjoy what am doing now but am still there because i don't ave an option for now am still trying to see if i can get another job but at the end of the month i thank God for having the job

ITS NOT AS IF I LIKE MY JOB EITHER,ESP THE SALARY ASPECT WHICH IS VERY LOW.AV TRIED EVERY EFFORT TO LOOK 4 BETA CHALLENGES AND AM STILL LOOKING UNTO GOD FOR THAT FAVOR SOMEDAY.I ALSO STILL THANK GOD FOR THIS JOB COS AT LEAST SOMETHING ENTER MY ACCT MONTHLY FOR MY USE.

For me its not an absolute feeling as "hating" or "liking" my job.i read engineering but am in the banking sector.and while i was in school i never wanted to do anything more than engineering.but it dawned on me that only secure a job in the banking sector.but i have learnt to adapt and make myself to like it.as my philosophy of life is "life is what u make it to be"

 Do I hate my job or the supervisor or the other workers or do I hate the customers that I have to deal with? You do the math. The worse is when you get the check and its not heavy enough. I need a check that is heavy enough and when heavy storm come, it will hold in place and while everything else shatters.

Do not accept this, Go and research into the laws of your Organisation and see what it says about sexual harrasement. Look except its consensual, he has no right to touch you anywhere, you can sue him for sexual harrasment. It is Illegal. You have a responsibilty to be a good staff and not be found wanting in any other aspect, Please do not take this, there are laws against this. |

i think my job is very stressful. i am in the financial industry and its cut throat.but thats all ive ever known how to do. some days im like "how did i get into this" ? some days i get home and i fall asleep in my shoes. i should try being a house wife and get some respite.

my Oga,na who told you that doing a job u love is fulfilling your purpose in life?what about the other aspect of adding value to other peoples lives?or do u think that once you are happy with yourself,every other person can go to hell.u must be a very selfish person |

What are you still doing in that kind of office. Your boss is now doing what your husband ought to be doing. I believe is not just the money that is keeping you there, maybe you also enjoy what he does.

I work as a volunteer and that entails dealing with other peoples problems. I found out that that was the purpose of my life to help other people. I really do not understand the point of your anger. |
