I think (because i have relatives in the UK) that the reason why it seems that nigerians in the UK seems stingy is not far fetched. Unlike in Nigeria here or in the united states where the tax policy is relatively relaxed, it's not the same in the UK and most parts of the EU or Shengen member countries. You pay tax on almost everything from the purchase of a vehicle to a house to consumer electronics e.t.c because that is theprincipal means(tax and levies) through which the federal governments of these countries generate their revenue in otherto provide social amenities. At the end of the day after government has removed it's own share of their income and otherpersonal expenses are met, they have little or nothing to send home Please i feel we should just understand their situation. Secondly their are some online businesses that i want to introduce to us that i feel would make us to some extent self reliant and less dependent on our relatives abroad. They are called Clubfredom and Getawayclub. Clubfredom( www.clubfredom.biz) is an australian based internet network marketing company that promotes travel and vacation. It entails you registering to become a member with $200, would be put on an electronic marketing board and would then be giving your own customized website, then you are expected to refer at least two people into the program and encourage those two you had brought in to refer their own two if you are to earn a commision of $6000 and an all expense paid vacation to any resort center around the world after cycleout of eight levels of two boards on the system and you cycle over and over and over again. Getawayclub(www.) is similar to clubfredom in modus operandii but the differences are 1 while clubfredom has two boards of 15 positions each, getaway has four boards of seven positions each. The boards in getaway are bronze, silver, gold and platinum. 2 While in clubfredom you earn $6000 and an all expense paid vacation after cycling out, in getaway you earn $12250 after cycling out but they are not promising an all expense trade vacation. 3 In clubfredom you earn the $6000 after you must have cycled out of both the feeder and main boards but in getawayclub you earn installmentally. Silver-$50,gold- $200 Platinum-$2000 and on cycling out you earn the remaining $10,000. 4 while the registeration fee for clubfredom is $200 that of getwayclub is $160 If you are interested in registering any of the above programs please call me on 08054816724 or just sign-up under any of this links if you have a funded account. Clubfredom- www.clubfredom.biz/jsofeso4real or www.clubfredom/mrsho. Getawayclub- www. /jidecrv or www./sho4real If you want more thorough research on the programs, youcancheck on google or contact any of your love ones abroad. This programsare real and not a pipe dream. Thank you all and God bless.

@ mrsho: You're shaking your tambourine in the wrong section. Why not go to the "business" section, instead of disguising your post as a contribution to a topic that's clearly NOT suitable?

Personally I have always seen those in the UK as stingy but after going through this piece I have change my thoughts.
The truth is that anybody doing legitimate business will not have that kind of money to throw about. We have experienced situations were some Nigerians go abroad any get themselves involved in drugs and fraudulent activities coming back with the proceeds and every body down here sees them as KINGS.Those of you not throwing the pounds carelessly are seen as stingy.
Down here in Nigeria Bankers and Oil workers experience the same thing. friend ,relations every body expects so much from them that sometime they but their hand the wrong way.
Those in the UK also contributes to this by giving a false picture of how the whole place works. My friends will always tell me they have bought this or that making us beleive it dam too easy.In all let our conscience jugde us .If you have help if you don't try and explain.
