Lol, lol and another lol. A moment of clarity, if you please:

#1. I never called you out. I do not/never considered you a battle cat, since you expressed from the start you don't battle and you don't like it because yada yada yadalong thing.

#2. I have every right as everyone to state my mind. That's why this place is a forum, public at that.

As you're consistently trying to impose as a fact your dislike/conviction against/for rap battles, why shouldn't i express my right to disagreeor is anything contrary to what u say now anathema?

#3. As i said before, your opinion stays your opinion, same goes for everyone including me, no one's saying you shouldn't give "advice". . . .just don't demonise what i and others like doing when u're "advising". . .your choice really, if you do, i'm afraid i'll disagree again

#4. Lol, i don't have my hands full enough, there's still room enough for mcs who want it. You want some? Kindly gimme your number and step in linelet me see, hmmm, you should be Victim tag 100. . .

@Wordsmith

Negroe,all that expostulation wasnt necessary! Its obvious ur spoiling 4 a fight or wudnt be referring to me as ur victim.Son,read my fingerz"I don't DO BATTLES!" Ive got more prophet-table ventures to attend to! Just keep my name out yo profane lips! A word is enough, !

Re: Gospel Rap Thread
« #132 on: November 11, 2007, 07:46 PM »

ROFLMAO! Another moment of clarity, if u please :

1. I'm not spoiling for a fight, don't need to do that. My english was plain simple- if you want some, then kindly step in line. If i can recall, you were the one who claimed my hands were full enough, implying i don't need another cat on my neck. My reply? My hands are far accomodating, you can join the victim list if u want or please.

2. It's a public forum, Jesus-wannabe negroe, i can say what i please, and keep your name in my mouth if i please. Come to think of it, i didn't mention your name; only replied your post.

3. Hey, hey, my lips are not profane. . . . .well, not so profane Tongue :Dbesides, come to think of it, i've been less profane in my verses than the past ages, heck, goin' through my verses of recent, profane words are usually limited to "bitch", "shit" and "pussy" once in a while. . .Tongue

Yo I'm going to tell you as the creator of this thread that we don't need this. I know neither of you mean harm but I consider this thread kind of sacred like church so let us not pollute it with hatred and cursing. aight?

Wrote someth'n some time back, when i was sick and was jostling between my room and the clinicoh well, here goes. . .

My life's source. . .,
i lay my burdens at the foot of Christ's cross,
that eye-sore//turns for good, celebrate that Lord's doing with high floss,
like i be poppin' henessy//droppin' energy in the mic club,
take my chances with the Lord, do it better than the dice does,
your son's a bit under the weather, but Lord make it rain healing,
engulf my being, seeping through every roof and ceiling,
clear my air passages, which the phlegm ravages,
upgrade my rap pages from the past ages,
felt like my lungs collapsed but i still manages,
my fever racked body's in high stand,
Lord on me please lay your divine hands,
need that relief//so i could spit that positive on the mic stand,
but the mic stands on the crossroads, my skills i advance,
can't fake this//i faith this and thank you in advance,
by your stripes, i'm healed off this//Excel way past Microsoft Office,
let your glory manifest on me whenever i bust this

@Hybrid-X

My 9 - 5 job is presently funding the album project.Ive tried to get sponsors,bt u kno how it is,people like what ur doin bt wnt invest in u till they see u on T.V and observe audience response to ur muzik. I got tired of waiting 4 a label to sign me and decided to make God my manager.

"Rapsody" is my stage name and simply means: 'Revelation of scriptures in lyrikal form'. I actually got that name when i was featured in a concert titled "Rhapsody" by a mass choir way back on campus.The music director was impressed by my performance and conferred d title upon me.Since then (2000),ive kept it gospel ever since.

I'm a solo artiste working on my debut album,bt considering how i started out,i have a thing 4 mass choirs and love to work wt em.I'll be in d studio thursday night to feature on an album project wt Youth 4 Christ Int. Lagos,then its back to the office on Friday morning. No be small tin,oh!

@Rantibaby

I think its a wonderful thing to dedicate ur talents to d worship of God and to have the desire to bless lives through muzik.But i wonder just how badly u want it? How much are u willing to sacrifice to spread ur music to d world?

don't expect a promoter 2 jump out d blues and support u wtout u having made some moves of ur own.Do u have ur Demo Cd? How much are u prepared to spend on improving ur muzik? How prepared are u to perform before millions of people who are hungry to hear some songs of encouragement frm u? Just how many songs have u composed and scored on the piano?

Most importantly,do u have a deep conviction in ur spirit that God has called u to d musik ministry? If u do,then stop looking 4 help elsewhere and trust him to bring people ur way that would believe in ur dream and help u actualize it. Nothing is impossible 4 God,bt it must be in HIS time.Keep singing and opportunity will find u!
