u c I'm da best n da lord christ I'm reppin
to da beat I'm steppin wit da heat but I'm never sweatin
and never carry a weapon I'm for da lord
block temptation then i cutem wit my sword
I'm going to slice n slitem he try to takem and getem
but what that fool do when da lyrics ll hitem
hell run like a punk all i gotta speaks a verse
that is why i read da bible
so i can be ready to kill demons and lead revival
words are being slung, together confluently done
never carry a gun, do it big u can call me pun
ill save ossama do what i gotta
wit saliva hotta then then the flames of lava
i don't mind to help a killer  those rymes willl melt a killer
tellem bought the lord see if theyll convert
see i don't care what u done the lord don't neither
soon as i begun its like turnin on the heater
ill preach to them let the lord do his work
bless me wit flows sellin tracks like my name was kirk
I'm going to lyrical genius similar to franklin
and the benjamins will come while steadily murkin satan
hurtin and murkin and burnin da trash
enflamen demons wit da word n turnem to ashe
my spits hotter than hell thats y demons trippin
the lords givin I'm gettin now I'm layin and rippin
he blessed my mic so its time to flow
and the demons man they know I'm tight time to go

alright, i'll be the first to admit i've flipped the script and let doyin get me in a fix, something i don't do normally except when angered. dude made a comment that got me pissed, the usual look down on artistes who spit in vernacular offends me and ican't help but lash out at the ofender once in a while. heck, i just dissed the dude a while back. but ima have ta backpeddal and take the chill pill. thanks rapsody for that post of yours.

In my mind i already lost this
living this life whose purpose is ?
if the wind should cease my breath would freeze
in this world no man can be said to be truly free

And I had to put in writing a thought a whisper
a chorus a beat
a choir elite
life always edges out the weak
pure words linger with mystique
man to woman conceive populate the world
whatever could have caused man to ever fall

i need a new reason to be able to live
i need new answers God can you hear me speak
i'm a captive of my own losses on the high seas
If this life is all there is to see
if pain is all there is to feel
if dreams are interpreted and calls are intercepted
if the mark is just a state of mind not a visible sign
midnight hour clock ticking i pray while i kneel
people places, this life is so unreal
always aiming for shadowy figures
if God is for us who can be against us

I'm glad we share similar viewz on this language thing. As far as I'm concerned,d group 'trybesmen' back then set d standard 4 us.Whateva language u chose 2 spit wt,jus b fly wt it & make mad sense. We are africans influenced by d both western & indigenous cultures.There4 expect us sounding either way.We are hybrids wt d capacity 2 express ourselves in any language we chose. It doesnt change who we are:beautiful, strong, black people.

The Father's greatest joy was when the G-man got born again/
picked me from the dirt when i fall again/
life could be a whore, to death you flip the bird/
innocents fall like trees when slugs rip the flesh/
new wake on a new day, yet the same struggle/
new stakes and a few u make, same hustle/
through the heat, we break through deceit/
burn mics a few degrees, but the devil u defeat/
let go past stories and let the Lord be glorified/
work through the pain while askin' why friends and homies die/
my life's chapter continues and that's my story i. . ./
seem like i siloliquise//grieve when young thugs  commit homicide/
we can't change the past but the future we can re-modify/
with illness encrypted, i pass the message on/
live God's will and never let 'em best days gone/

Nothing lasts forever except eternity
paper and pen scribble memoirs accept astrology
gaze at the night stars
evade the radars
your religion is what distinguishes
Buddhists islamists and jewish

Every man's wish is
live longer, start a business
but one day we mourn, this life on earth is hellish
hear the siren, not the police just angels on assignment
get too emotional fanatical extremists
deep in the soul there exists a certain malice
talking about this everyday fountain and valleys
what more can i ever say time is your knowldege,
knowledge is key, never be key less
spokesman for the layman i'm simply zealous
people die early most especially the Goodfellas

If you feel this,
explore deep thoughts shatter like glass
one day soon we'D all be home at last
living carefree life keeps flowing on a daily
basis, in your domain never expect praises
if one kingdom falls, there are several to replace it

mankind rests on its shoulders, people in different places
can't explain this but my dreams keep falling
the death of a king, puts nations in deep mourning
tossing and turning, thoughts become endless and boring
demise of a poor soul no one seems to notice
the word becomes everyday tonic -life's ironic

Nice one! Son. I'll take it frm there.

Life's ironic/
unnatural, kind of bionic/
2 many feenz escapin/
smokin on chronic/

i see life through d eyez/
of a blind poet/
i seek d rhythm through d shadowz/
and rhyme 2 it

catz on my block/
in they second childhood/
stuck in d same routine/
living in my hood/
sitting on d porch steps/
dissin d government/
drinkin cheap beer/
repeating d same argumentz

some tried 2 escape/
by any means possible/
some made it happen,while some/
is laid up in hospitalz

like my man hola said/
life's so ironic/
bt if u need a remedy,yo!/
i got d tonic

Jesus Christ/
is in d house 2 night/
accept d gospel/
and get crunk 4 life! (Yeah, baby!)

I never was a clean man, people called me the black sheep
Friends I'm a sinner, but hope God will forgive
Went through many scandals, Befriended rogues and vandals
Fornication, Biblical Modification, all to my Blacklist.
Don't judge me, I never really meant to sin.
well it says in the good book that redemption is bliss
One sin can bring to fire, but I live my life playing God and callin myself Messiah
for the sake of My soul, I hope I never cut rope
I'm dirty spiritually, I tried cleansing with herbal soap
I hope my life changes, Hope I can be half the man like the Pope
but with all the temptations I pray to God I can cope.

Good Thread Jduck.

I feel cleansed. Cheesy

"educated, need not see reason to reason mentally, eventually". S' got a nice rhythm to it,plus wordplay.
Kool!

Mic Check:

The ressurrectn is here/it will not be televised/
pure perfection is rare/too complex to analyze!

The crucifixion/is made a cruci-fiction/
now fools is missing/still trying to find alternative cures/ for who's affliktion?

God's got a man-obssession/but money got a man all stressing/he
spitting his heart out vexing/for some shorty he got affection!

A man's heart is changed/but old friends actin strange/they pop half his cage/as he hops out his range!

My sixteenz are pristine/they glisten,u listen/
i spit this 4 this feenz/and those still living in a sinful existence!
