Osisi, same here. I refused to eat it even though i grew up in the west with it all around my family.
But when I finally did 2yrs ago, it was good. A friend gave me Amala flour that's made from plantain,
I think the best is that made from dried Plantain (plantain flour)
another worst food for me was Egusi and Okra, ummm

Mine is scallop. unknown to me it was medium-cooked before I started eating it. I guess i will try a well cooked one a second time. If I have the same feeling then no more of it for me. Another one is the smell of lobster in its shell. I can eat the meat when its already out but the smell while still in a shell gives me goose bumps. The sight of Amala and ewedu/dodo gives me goose bumps too.

Well, I went tu Jos tu pick up ma younger sis from skul and it was quite late, so I culdnt leave jos that day. I had tu spend the night at her frend's guest house. They asked If I'll like tu take coos-coos, I didnt know what it was - buh, I didnt want tu sound demanding so I said that'll be k.
When they brought it, It was quite strange - lookin like noodles, when I tasted it, I almost fainted, I flushed it down the toilet.

The worst i've eaten was Okpa - an Enugu Delicacy. They gave us at the Orientation Camp. We dispised it so much. but later i heard it was so nutritious. I never tried it after then !! But i still fear !!

i have tasted coos coos or goos goos before. it's nice if you like trying new thing. my kaduna friend made it. i forgot what kind of plant its from, am thinking Acha but coos coos is whitish. oh well one man's meat is Akpu is nice when eaten with freshly cooked Ogbono soup (Ofe Ogbono) with oxtail, (lots of azu) dried fish, crayfish, prawn and lots of bonga, etc) i don't leave the kitchen in those days when mom is pounding Akpu . one man's meat is |

There was something i ate as a child, don't know where it comes from neither do i care only that i didnt like it. It's some sorta soup i guess Only thing i remember is that its yellowish, cocoyam is like mashed into itnah didn't like it.
