This Ivory coast team for some reason, remind me of chelsea. I'm not being pessimistic, but I can't see us doing anything against them, unless Okocha (or somebody else) can score from a freekick. Else, I think it's all over.

Utaka would have been better than Makinwa
Eguavon goofed here
Only Mikel merit super eagles from flying eagles.

Nigeria Lose Against Cote D' Ivoire: Eguaveon 2 Blame??
« #83 on: February 07, 2006, 03:52 PM »

With Nigeria's lack lustre performance, and subsequent exit from AFCON, who do you think was 2 blame. Was it the technical misjudgement of Coach Eguaveon, or the laxity of the players. JUST WHAT HAPPENED???

Well, that's the end of the nation's cup for me. What a naive goal to concede in the first place.
Arrrrrgh..................I just want to bite somone's head off.
Even at the death, we are still kicking the ball around as if we are the team in front.

ivory coast played so bad, we just could not raise the level of our game. i think we need a complete overhaul of our midfield and defence! except for mikel, no other under-21 shld play in eagles

Wow you're already looking for blame  Shocked

i just wonder we technically had 5 strikers ...no right midfielder,no left midfielder

was utaka too hot tempered to handle?
why did kanu start? a reward for his good performance in previous matches?
wasnt obodo consistent enough?
what in goodness name happened to ayila.look at all the space in the middle i kept lookin out for him...kaita>what position is he meant to play?
Why are they even changing the players everygame

hmm let me go to the humuor section  Grin
