Looking For A Buyer For Your Shares- This Is The Thread For You

I have noticed that a lot of the time most deals are usually cross deals and since nairaland users represent a large market we can deal with each other and ensure that our shares get bought or sold fast.  So if you want bto buy any stock or you have for sale you can post here so that other members can respond.

N.B. I am not in anyway suretying any one that posts here o. Caveat emtpor. You still have to do your due diligence and ensure that you deal  with only genuine people.

@frank

I appreciate ur posting but i would really like to know ow all these cross deals are going to work. Are u encouraging black market deals in the market.

I am of the opinion that mani people would not like to sell their shares over the net, consider the trading deals/crossing and moni issues especially in a country like this.

Just my humble opinion

I think it will be like share transfer after discussing with the seller, you will both contact you stock broker, the rate of transfer will be another issue.

I think making contacts for sales of shares through this medium, is a wonderful idea. As for the modality, after the interested buyer gets phone contact with the 'seller', the later in turn informs his/her broker of the deal and  amount arrived at. Of course the broker makes his commission as usual both ways. Or what do you think? but in the end, rather than wait for too long especially when it concerns difficult stocks like transcorp (for now) you can easily get a more patient investor take them up, while you move on, you know!
Abeg, me I want sell some transcorp!!!! N8 only. I blv in the stock but I need some funds urgently. 150,000 units only. And 250,000units of Dunlop at N4.00k. Contact me on 08034077205. All the best dear friends.

This is a nice idea. Is there any problem with Zenith bank shares as some guys want to dispose of it?
Your candid advice is welcome.

I don't think there's any issue with Zenith shares, just that people think they can dispose because of the capital appreciation but then I'm of the opinion that it would rise (possibility of being listed in the London Stock Exchange)

please I'm looking for a good broker to open account with.

Leadcapital has failed me. For more than three weeks they could not open an a/c for me and they are asking me to pay =N=100.00 each, to verify a share certificate. Meanwhile they have been holding my draft of =N=150,000.00 for the past three weeks.

please can anybody in the house help me out?

My contact  08037421912.

Thank you.

@frankriri

I think this is  a kool idea.

As for the modalities i think after you have come to an agreement with your counterpart i suppose you would need your stockbrokers to conclude the transaction as long as you have identified your counterpart you are dealing with and in possesion of the transfer details so you will need to instruct your broker accordingly.

Let me know frankriri if my assumptions are wrong.

I have about 50,000+ units of Access shares to sell. If interested get in touch by e-mail to: ailesanmi@gmail.com

Hi, Let us be properly guided by what we do in life.For proper idea,knowledge and information about stocks ,please do consult BROKERS.
The buying and selling of stocks is transacted through them.
Moreover,they offer you the necessary advices concerning deals and the economy.
Hence, if you need shares and you really want to buy,meet a BROKER to avoid logjam cases of value and volume.More so,the transfer since it is not an IPO(Initial Public Offering).
More enquires can be obtained through this email address- alphahedgeinc@yahoo.com.
We also offer FOREX  TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT.
Thanks.

Hello friends,

From some responses and fears expressed by some here, I think some of us maybe getting frankriri right: Frankriri's first presumption is that you already have stocks with a broker. This medium is to help facilitate your disposing of those stocks, especially when your broker seems to be telling you the sad story that no one is buying the particular stock you urgently want to sell off. And on the other hand when the broker also tells you he is not able to purchase a particular stock you desperately desire to buy.

Therefore:

Re: Looking For A Buyer For Your Shares?

Its is apparent that this is an idea that is overdue.
Let me set out the standard proceedure.
For sellers- the shares must already be in your possession, preferably in your CSCS account but it could also be in certificate form if the seller is willing to wait. ( if the share is scarce this should be no problem)
You agree the price with the buyer based on your negotiations, which should be guided by the prevailing market price of the share and its future prospects.
You contact your broker and then do the deal.The broker will collect his commission both ways, based on the prevailing market price.
As per all the arguments about needing a broker to advice you on price, I don't think they are out of place in this arrangement. After identifying a buyer your broker could advice on a resonable price.

Thanks guys for keeping it real here.

This is to inform nairalanders that Access bank plc one of the fastest growing banks in Africa is coming to the market live as from 19th july to raise fresh funds in her quest for expansion, technological developmement and increase in capitalization which will position her  better to enlarge her business coast in the finance industry.

Access bank parades one of the best sets of staff and management(Access warriors) across the nigerian finance industry and this led to the triple digit growth of profit(576%),
from 1.1 billion in 2006 to 8.0 billion in 2007.

Access bank currently took the banking jihad to Sierra leone after Gambia and has equity relationship with reputabble international organisations like FMO and International finance corporation.

Access bank is thus calling on well meaning Nigerians home and abroad to invest in this deal of a lifetime which starts running from 19th july as a public offer.
The offer goes for N14.90 while the market price as technically suspended is N19.32, according the investors a 23% comfort.

I call on nairalanders to take advantage of this opportunity to join a moving train, investing in a world-class Nigerian bank which is positoned to return adequate returns on our investments.

For more information on the offer,and those that will buy, please contact;

Callistus on 08037798045 or ohajic@accessbankplc.com
