Start from what ud like to make your computer do first. And u will find out in trying to do that you would have learnt a lot and one thing would lead to the other, then have a plan on what u realy want to specialise on.

help am studying business administration at Babcock university the problem is that i have a love for computer programming.and want to be oracle certified or cisco even if i pass the examination will get a job wouldn't my course limit me.please tell me i don,t want to end up in the bank.really the bank work is quite monotonous and fucking boring.any tips please i really need help.and please give honest answers.

@pc guru: I don't think your course will limit you to getting involved in programming as far as you have interest in it. so just be determined to do what you want and you are there  good luck!

Actually, your course work in Business/banking might actually help you as a developer. No knowledge is wasted. If programming is your passion, then go for it!
