I have always said it, the reason why the rest of the world says rubbish about us is because we either say the same ourselves or do not publicly renounce it. If you publicly call your mother a Witch, you should not be upset if other kids call her so as well

@denex,
Seriously, which country refused you visa? I guess its the US but that is not a reason to hate your brethren in the diaspora. You need to get over your inferiority complex

I think Collin Powell or Condeleeza Rice personally handed him his deportation papers via "Air Force One" for being the "way way way above average fraudulent Nigerian' apprehended for trying to hack into the white house to catch a "mugu"!  Hence all this bad belle!  You cannot come in to this country for the next 100 years!  I have looked up your record! To tell the truth everyone is entitle to their own opinions. And i thinkeveryone is speaking on their own experiences. In my opions i know more nigerians that do fraud in the US alone. I can't speak for any other country. Yea we have civilized people but every nationality has something negative that they are known for.

I am not fraudulent, well maybe in the past I did things that I wasn't proud of, but I make my money with a honest living, I  am a role model for couple people and I can not afford to fail.  SO to conclude, not all Nigerians are fraudulent, where is the survey? what characteristics or were examine in the data to come to this conclusion?

I disagree that the average nigerian is fraudulent.

Being fraudulent depands on your value system and your location.  I have being with quite a lot of nigerians and and really say that I have met a lot of sincere nigerians.
Most of those that live in the major cities tend to be fraudulent because it is encouraged there and everything around them e.g flamboyant lifestyles.

Most of those that live outside the big major cities are not fraudulent. The environment moulds you to become what you are.

It would be wrong to generalize like all whites take crap, blacks don't like to go to school, naija guys are fraudulent, italians are gansters etc.

i Dont believe that Nigerians are particularly more fraudulent thatn other nationalitites, however i've got to admit that many Nigerians were brought up in an environment where one can cheat , defraud and get away with it , also there's this poverty mentality,everyone likes money and a many people will do almost anything for it, now put an american, no matter what his color in nigeria and give him the same upbringin as the average fraudulent nigerian and u'll have exactly the same result
Everyone is entitled to his opinion,but generally the people i have been close to are people on whose bed i can put money  and expect to find the money the next day (no matter how much, in fact the larger the money the greater the chance of finding it next day) --"birds of s feather" so if u don't trust your best friend it's very likely u're not trustworthy yourself

i think an average Nigerian is fraudulent and the main cause is greed,  An average Nigerian is never contended with what he/she has!!!! ALWAYS wanting 2 be d very best even when comfortable, talk of the town and i find it appalling that educated pp are into all this shit !!!!!!!!! . I know there are lots of graduates in Nigeria without jobs and that might be the reason for the fraudulence, but is that really the answer !!!!!!!!!!!  thats what is killing our society today, see all this selfish politicians they/ve stolen money enough for the 5th generation unborn, yet he his not satisfied still finding  ways to terrorize and steal from a poor man.  if an average Nigerian knows you doing better or  more okay than they are they device a means of getting more from you although, there is poverty in the society the bad attitude out there makes you think twice when you want to help pp.  I was watching an episode of Oprah's show about Nigeria yahoo boys. I was really ashamed Embarrassed to claim am a Nigerian the show really gave Nigeria a bad image Shocked
  Also, the same politicians messing up the society have no fate in the system, sending their kids abroad for education, and health checkups. i will be here till tomorrow analyzing the reasons why an average Nigerian is fraudulent . Well my prayer is that one day our leaders will wake up from there slumber and make Nigeria a great nation it ought to be.
