                                                                          ARTHRITIS: THE ENEMY
Arthritis is a disease of the joint and generally refers to diseases or other abnormal processes occurring in the joints. It makes the joint hurt and seem many times not to respond to treatment.

Arthritis (Joint Pain) can be caused by many types of injuries or conditions. NO matter what the cause may be, joint pain can be at times frustratingly painful when treatment seems not to be forthcoming.

Joint pain comes with inflammation, muscle pain, wrist, fingers, elbows and general pains in all the body. It can also be destructive to the joints if not treated quickly. So it is an enemy and must be driven out.

                                                                    ARTHRITIS: FACTS AND FIGURES
Forty-six million Americans report that a doctor told them they have arthritis or other rheumatic conditions.

Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States, limiting the condition of more than 17 million adults.

Nearly 4.3 million Americans – About One in every five adults – have arthritis or chronic joint symptoms.

As the population ages, these number, will probably increase dramatically.

Arthritis is more common among older adults, but it also affects many children and younger adults.

Infact 60% of people with arthritis are younger than 65.

Each year arthritis is estimated to cost $51billion (fifty one billion dollars) for medication.

And an additional $35 billion (thirty five billion dollars) for indirect cost such as lost wages.

Arthritis is responsible for 750,000 hospitalizations and 36 million out patients visit every year.

Early and Aggressive management of inflammatory arthritis can reduce complications and delay costly procedures like joint replacement.
