Hey guys,
My friends and I are always debating this subject and I wanted to hear the opinions of the NL community. I'm a natural girl as in I don't perm my hair and usually wear my hair in twists, dreadlocks, or an afro. However, when I have to work or go on interviews I tend to put weave in my hair so that I look more professional and clean cut. I notice that I attract different kinds of guys and get treated differently based on what hairstyle I'm rocking.
So now I'm curious: what styles do you guys find to be more attractive on a lady? Do you ladies feel that men react to you differently based on your hair? Is this my imagination? Forgive me if this topic has already been discussed as I'm relatively new to the forum.

There's always a difference between a natural looking girl and a fake or artificial looking girl.
The natural looking girls will always get the good guys.

Natural hair is trouble, Jeez! I mean hardwork. It's so difficult to manage. In short, it's better for a girl to perm her hair, at least. Even if she's not going to be wearing fake hair. But what's even wrong with wearing fake hair, anyway? It's not as if we don't have hair, we just love it!  |

I don't. You mean you don't perm your hair as in putting creme-relaxer in it? Well, I can't keep my hair like that. Before I permed it, it was long and full and thick. Combing it used to make my eyes misty with tears. My neighborhood is filled with weave wearing sisters, and everyday, you see a piece of track from the weave, or a braid somewhere on the floor. Frankly, its gross to see that. You might draw attention with your weave, because "your hair is your crowning glory" but after theweave is taken out, then what? After the weave is out, then my hair! Like I said, it's not is if we don't have hair. My hair is even as long as some weaves. I just like to wear weaves because they stay that way i.e. if I set my real hair like a weave and sleep, by the time I roll about everything will just scatter but fake hair stays the same for 2 weeks or more. Well, all these famous celebrites ex. beyoncee, tyra banks, britney spears, genny nnaji, they all wear weaves, imagine how they would look without it! Would you consider them pretty with their natural hair, after wearing all that weave?
Don't they have hair? Of course, they can also look good with their real hair. In short, Up! Up! Artificial hair!  |

when it comes to hair.....I like the natural hair more than anything but it also depends on how you fix your hair and the rest of your apperance along with it. I think more guys will go after the lady/woman that has her own hair or at least a weave that's toooo good to tell that it's fake! hahahaha

well,for me,natural or artificial?I love both.Its really convenient for me with a weaveon when I am rushing off to somewhere,all I do is put it in place and off I go.I also love the natural look,like the one I am sporting now.I have tinted my natural hair and its like wow!!!I intend to leave it so for long....

i aint doing that freaky hair,..i'l like it longer, it might do if its straightened, i gat a straightner but no sane person to do it. am thinking of withdrawing sum money for highlights and straigthening.. i'l love weave on [gat curly ones and coloured ones] but heyyyy....arghhh!  |
