don't mind all these liars on nairaland. Some can't even pick out a dime from a pack of coins and they'll come here boasting of buying heaven and earth. I have been working for years and know that no sane middle income wage earner would buy a common wristwatch for that many thousands. The person is either a multimillionaire by inheritance or a rogue.
People who work hard for money don't do stupid things with it

Babyosisi, I have kind of been reading your threads on Nairaland, I really have that heart for your contributions but on this one, you are a bit shallow-minded. What is 12k on a wristwatch for someone with an income of £700 / day? With a total credit-card limit of £65k , Though, I did make use of the word -impulse buying-, might be you skipped that. Anyway, not everyone would come to a site like this and lie, Just thought I should contribute after a long time,

Mr "the other Seun"do you mean 12 thousand pounds sterling or 12 thousand cedi. What kind of wristwatch is that? when you can get a good movado for $1,500. You need to do better things with your money.

I know somebody who actually bought a fine( I mean really fine skirt) at 30 naira! Yes thirty naira! Why don't y'all just drop the airs and talk about your cheapest accessories. I once bought a second-hand silk stole at 40 naira! Of course nobody knows unless I tell them.

Bought myself an eyeglass worth £295 and ended up misplacing them! Have now replaced it. I don't think that guy claiming to have bought a 12000 pounds wrist watch really bough it.This is pounds not naira. I know he would prefer to buy a car and not a watch
Guy, car is not an issue here. if you earned the amount of money he earns (which some people in IT do earn), you might spend excessively sometimes. Remember he is going to pay back the credit amount over a long period of time.
