Want to play half life 2 (PC Version) but says Internet connection required. How do I go about it.

Is your copy original?

If so, then you need an internet connection to activate it, after which you will be able to play it without connecting.

Sorry, just part of valve's copy-protection measures.

type kill 'steam' or ' steam offline' into google. you'll probably get to some sites that describe or provide tools that eable you to play offline. Wink

beware, thm site may come with malware,

if its a pirated version you're running, i expect you to return(assuming you're successful) asking about 'ai disabled'. . .
