Alhaji Dangote was quoted saying that he should be the richest man in Africa and worth more than Oprah Winfrey. Richest man in Africa?
I wouldn’t call myself the richest man in Africa. I would allow Forbes magazine to say so. But I have seen them saying Oprah Winfrey is the richest black person in the world, and she is worth $1.5billion. I think by the grace of God I am much, much, richer than her. But the other one about Africa, I would wait for Forbes magazine to come out with their rating. I think the picture would become clearer towards the end of the year. I read in the last edition of city people that he was one of the suitors for Y’aradua’s daughter. He thrives on politics and ruthlessness. SO his boasting should not be surprising . he is a good business man tho

People should learn to distinguish between a boast and a response to a question in a one on one interview.
Dangote was simply responding to a question in an interview granted recently. He should not be taken out of context.

My question is what has he done to help the poor in Nigeria at least we can see what Oprah has done and still doing to help the less fortunate?
It's okay for all this rich people to throw their wealth in our faces and yet have no concience seeing people dying of hunger,children not in school cos their parents cant afford it.I dont have respact for the so called rich people who only think of how to show off their wealth.

dont know if Dangote made any advances and if she declined or not, but one thing I thing I do know is that she is HOT, mehn I saw a picture of her in This Day yesterday and very impressive. Is it me or are northern chicks hot or what??!! |

Oh pls she is not so hot. She had a lot of suitors cuz her surname is y’aradua. She is already old. Can be nothing short of 35 and has a failed marriage behind her. Yes she declined him and is married to Kebbi state governor. Anyways back to the isue on ground the paper made the headline catchy if you read the content (which I didn’t before my last post) you will realize he want actually boasting.
