Hello Nairalanders,
i need help and advise( what i need precisely is a job in the UK, i have a Bacherlor's degree in engineering i also can speak and write russian and i have passed the 1st 3 stages of a russian proficiency course, the only problem is that i need to pay a high tuition fees which i don't have, i need yr advise or help, what can i do in the UK? and how much can i hope 2 earn?

You need to provide more details of your current situation, such as your specific engineering specialisation/course, number of years of experience you've got, other skills you've got, your current country location, plans for Post graduate, e.t.c.

Foreign language skills are generally a plus (particularly in this era of EU and globalisation) and it could get you some opportunities in Oil and Gas, Counsulting, Investment banking, e.t.c. When you give more  details of your experience, then you can know what you could earn, otherwise, fresh out of school and getting a relatively good job can earn you somewhere between £22,000 and £33,000 Per annum depending on type of job. Not saying that it can't be less or more depending on the profession so I don't want UK guys/babes hitting me hard on this!

e be like say u go try find how u go use that your degree and foreign language skills for naija o. b/c UK really really rough for foreigners o. especially if the foreigner is black. . . . . . . .and african . . . . . . .and nigerian Grin

hello,
i got a mail from the university asking if i can teach russian, unfortunately my russian isn't that good and i hav a working visa for 20 hrs, i have replied telling them i am available for only administrative work.
