The deal is that she is the mother of your spouse and you should treat her like your own mother or if that is difficult to do, then give her her desired respect for been many many years your senior Angry

I love my mother-in-law, she is as close to me as my own mother, when i was in nigeria for the first time, i developed a fever and i was very ill, my mother in law ( or Mommie as i call her) stayed with me and took care of me, she was in danger of losing her job, she is a teacher, but she stayed anyway, i will alway love her for this,,, may i add that my husband took care of me also and was critized by other relatives, but that is another story,
