@Ayowande;thanks 4 ur info. .Other viral STDs include herpes simplex 1&2(genital herpes),hepatitis viruses(HBV,HCV),pox virus(molluscum contagiosum),CMV and of course HIV(AIDS).HIV(AIDS) and HBV/HCV(liver cancer) are the most dangerous.Others are equally prevalent in our practice here but do not cause life threatening infection like AIDS & cancers.
Thanks a lot for your post Karl.Learning happens to be one of my hobbies;So when i stumbled on that last night i was taken aback-never heard of it till last night! I learn 'tho that women can detect it in good time if they do their pap smear regularly at least twice a year.I have spoken to one or two professionals in the field and i am assured that that once given the proper attention it would not gravitate to cancer of the cervix.
