A friend asked me how to activate the radio on his nano but i don't have an idea.
I know you can download podcasts, but can the radio displayed on the menu actually be activated?

NO they don't come with radio, my 30GB has no radio , You have to buy the radio bit as an accessory!
What do u think about the iphone?

can somedody assist with this:
Av got 2 nanos ipod, one does not boot boyond the hour glass after downloading songs on it.
While the second one, while trying to play the music files it hangs and switches off completely but i can access the FM on it.

Ayusman,for the one that does not boot beyond the hr glass,check the settings on itunes to see if u have disk use enabled.that sometimes interferes with use when connected.don't know about the other one though.

Dude, u culd try restoring the ipod on line, and No, ipods don't come with FM's though u culd buy an FM attachment.
I have one but its 30 gig and its a video.

No, ipods cannot play FM radio. However, you can buy a little device called an FM Tuner and this, attached to your ipod would enable you to playback FM radio straight from your ipods 3.5mm jack. If you're considering this, I would advise you to get a digital tuner. It's too easy to get excited over finally being able to listen to the radio over your iPod and then buy a tuner which produces sound that can only identify with the 80's and 90's. However, I agree with Don Pedro. . . Why not get it all in one piece instead of buying bits and bobs just to make Mr. Steve Jobs richer? (Not that I have anything against the guy but that thing is overrated.) A Zen with nice earphones would give you much more options without damaging your pocket. iPod is a name given to Apple MP3/4 brands.
Zen is not an iPod, its just another brand name of MP3 like iPod.
OK Jackal, did Don Pedro say that he bought a "Zen Ipod"? Or you just had to show off your knowledge? which one? |
