I feel so bad when I see some men beat up their wives or girl friends. This act is so animalistic. I wish a bill can be passed into law in our Nigeria to stop this.
So many women have been assaulted by men, and nothing has been done about it.
I think it is time women stand up for their rights.
What do you guys think?

Wife/women beatin is common in Naija, I doubt these women will ever stand up to these bullies. Most are beaten to submission, even when they see the exit sign they sure won't use it. The wife/women beaters do it out of control, show the woman 'who da man of da house'. Only a weak man exploits a woman. To all the men and would be wife/women beaters may the devil do a bum job on you in hell. Go fight someone who go fight back, una be COWARDS.

Perhaps we need a new word in the English language for those males who abuse women. The word "man" surely does not apply.
Needless to say, such behavior is irrationally beyond contempible. It is something that I have trouble expressing my abject disgust about.
From a legal standpoint, let me ask: What laws does Nigeria have regarding such abuse? Are they enforced? Are they enforcable?
From a personal standpoint, let me ask: To those who have admitted such abuse (call and niceuzor), what has caused you to change not only your vile behavior, but also your thinking?

Though some ladies threaten their man to the extent that she got beaten up but he shld have known that ladies are precious metal. the reason why we married woman is mostly to brace them up from their parent has stopped,pet her and correct her whenever she's wrong.
As for me,I called my girl a name mybabe and she's just like something so special that i can't describe. I don't think I can ever touch her hardly not to talk of beating her up. I pray that God shld not allow it happen,no matter what.

I had noticed it is in the nature of some women to be beaten. If not, they wouldn't stay in the affair that reduce them to punching bag just for love.
