Too Tight Vagina

Are there really cases where the vagina is just too tight. What are the solutions to such problems?

Thamks for your reply. This experience really left me devastated. to the point that if i were not a positive person i would have lost my self esteem. I was really ashamed of myself and felt less of a woman.

Before we crucify the boyfriend, and some people here wet themselves, there some things the poster should know about the anatomy of the vagina.

Normally, the post-puberscent vagina is controlled hormonally, ie stimulation- physical or emotional can make the smooth muscles around the vagina to secret fluid, increase metabolism, and most importantly increase in size.

The result is that after stimulation by sex or child birth, the vagina can open very wide to accomodate a relatively large privates, a fetus, or infact any instrument you thrust in it.

Again, this happens normally.

Abnormally, if there is a scar- eg from circumcision, trauma, or anatomical anormality, the vagina would be unable to open and dilate as expected.

If all things related to hormone production remain intact, and the abnormality is ltd to structure, then a normally excited vagina will fail to open as usual.

Hormone production could fail for the opposite reasons a woman would have been excited in the first place.

The poster would certainly benefit from a visit to an OB/Gyn.

One visit, and she would know whether she is normal or not.

Small girls from naija and sub-saharan Africa begin having sex and babies very early, and they develop abnormal tears in the vagina during child-birth, because the vagina was too small, or not properly cared for after delivery- another reason, the poster should see her doc.

If you're old enough to have sex, you are old enough to do yearly pap smear in your doctor's office anyway!

Every girl who is old enough to have sex is encouraged to have a yearly doctor's visit for PAP smear. It saves life, and poster could have this issue addressed at the same time.

 I see alot of replies are blaming the guy. But what i like to bring to others notice is the problem called vaginismuss  in which the vaginal goes into spasm when penetration is attempted and becomes too tight and actually prevents penetration or makes it very difficult. I don't kn what exactly the guy experienced but it is possible it is this. In this case this is a gynaecological problem that is very difficult to cure and may need psychological treatment or use of graded dilator.
My dear sister, while i don't wish it is this problem that is happening, i would like you to rule this out.
