Now I'm really curious to know,that is if u are generous enough to share,why music genre do you hate the most and why?

Well, U1, I wouldn't say I hate any kind of music, but I will admit that American country music is not exactly my cup of tea. A fair number of the songs--but by no means all--are well written. Most of the instrumentalists are quite skilled, as well. My main point of contention is the ridiculous "sing-through-the-nose" sound that the vocalists seem to affect! It does their putative talents nor the songs they're performing justice, and it's, at best, nearly painful to listen to! That's, of course, just my very humble opinion.
Good topic, by the way! I'm eager to hear what others have to say.

Maybe this thread would do well if we were to give examples of the things that we find so distasteful in the genre. If we were to note specific recordings or artists, then others could assess our specific likes and dislikes from their own personal standpoint. Then, it would also give us an opportunity to suggest something in the same genre that might appeal to those who, otherwise, might not have considered it.
Just a thought, with all due respect to U1.

thnk u be referin 2 old school country. . New age's smoother, quite akin 2 alternative rock on a notch-slower tip.
Don't have any particlar hates but i thnk most people just hate classicals. . . D mozarts, beethovens etc.
Really freaks folks out when i flip 'em on!

@luizworlddid i say generally?. . .the thread talks about personal tasteSure there are good ones out there like them basement jaxx thembut am not into that kind of musicno matter how hard i try mellowing out in it, i get a headache from it. . . Personal taste manwe are all entitled to itwhats the use of liking what everyone else likes?

OK lets tackle this i don't like rap because to me it is just a lot of noise now i don't particularly like Luda, i simply said i liked his "runaway love" with MJB i think the thing is , i only like rap when it is in a song kind of thing Wereas Rap just raw as it is , for me is noise justmy opinion deary  |
