I have a problem when playing back downloaded videos from a p2p sites (Ares). Instead i get black screen with audio and no video. What do you think is the problem? i usually download and play but just notice the problem recently. Do you think i should reinstall the application again? Please need your advice

depending on the format and encoding, you might need to get codecs or try using videolan

-lol. That happens wit .avi videos, to d extent that Windows Media Player also plays it with audio nd no video.
Get codecs like someone said.

Try downloading media Player Classic
its got codec to suit almost all file formats.
